Ambush Update!

Writing is something I’ve always loved to do, and up dating our Ambush Apparel blog was something I always took great interest in. But as I was looking over our website and blog as I often do, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of guilt and abandonment.

In a recent workshop in Toronto at The Remix Project an all star panellist of music bloggers sat down to discuss their secrets to success. Each and everyone of these panellists has their own website/blog and I have great admiration towards them & their hustle. These panellist included Karla Moy – HustleGRL.com, Karen Civil – KarenCivil.com, LowKey – YouHeardThatnew.com & Mecca from 2dopeboyz.com. Now, although these websites are mainly music oriented it refreshed my memory and made me remember that the same hustle, drive and determination can be put into play regardless the topic you’re talking about.  So with out further ado, let me get into the meat of this post.

Since our Spring Summer 12 collection launch mid April, we received tremendous amounts of love from numerous websites and blogs both big and small. Believe me when I say, all interweb love is madly appreciated and definitely does not go unnoticed.

With that said, there were a few that really grabbed our attention. The 1st being ‘BlogTo’. BlogTo compiled a list of Torontos top 10 fashion start up brands & wouldn’t you know it, Ambush Apparel made the list! A short while after, the website piccsy.com compiled their list of ‘Torontos top 50 designers‘  & again, we made the list! (Relatively high on both lists).

Ambush Apparel is for everyone who believes in dreams! With acknowledgement comes motivation, and with motivation comes success. Ambush Apparel SS 12 Collection!

BANGBANG! I cant even explain how blessed we feel to have released the newest & possibly one of our most punctual collections to date! The ‘Sophomore’ collection represents our time in the game at two years deep & believe me when I tell you we are not going anywhere. Sticking to what we know best, this season we’re heavy on typography, pop colors & aggressive designs that are sure to stand out from the norm. Our supporters are like family & family grows together. Church Chizzle X Ambush Apparel

Toronto’s ‘Church Chizzle‘ was spotted sporting Ambush Apparels ‘Fuck What You Heard’ hoodie in the new visuals for his song ‘Replay‘. ‘Church’, a fellow ‘Remix Project‘ participant as well as Much Musics 5 time Rap City champ is on the come up with a growing fan base and a youtube channel surpassing 200 K views. We fucks with him! Read the video description below and then check out both videos to get a better sense of who ‘Church’ really is.

Take a seat with ‘Church Chizzle’ as he elaborates on struggles he’s been facing in his past, present, and future. Even if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you can relate to certain scenarios he’s faced. The moral of the story is, tomorrow’s a better day, if you allow it to be.

The 6th Letter X Ambush Apparel

In the video below, Toronto homie The 6th Letter releases new visuals for his track 4:20 am. With a successful Youtube channel [click here] surpassing 200 K views and a developing fan base. Ambush went from supporting online to chopping it up with him at Manifesto. Which meant it was only appropriate to get 6 laced out in some gear. Shout out to The 6th Letter and @PrimeToronto for putting this together, and for reppin’ Ambush while doing so.

Complex Magazine X Mac Miller X Ambush Apparel

With the debut of Mac Miller’s first album Blue Slide Park released Nov 8 and projected to sell about 100 000k copies in the first week, the infamous Complex Magazine has compiled a list of Mac Miller’s Clothing co-signs that have helped him stay fresh throughout his pre album campaign.  It’s an honour for Ambush Apparel to be included in this list, sitting along side some of the dopest independent and massive players in the game.  Shout out to Mac Miller & Complex Mag for recognizing real.
